Can you make a musical in four days? Of course you can! During the music theater summer camp, you'll create a real production together with other children
You'll practice the songs and scenes together, receive acting lessons, and work hard to master all the dance moves. You'll be guided by the music and theater teachers from the Wereldmuziekschool and the Musical4daagse. This year, we're offering a special in-depth program for children aged 12 and up, where you'll work an extra hour each day to create your own scene for the performance. At the end of the week, you'll perform for your family and friends.
Afsluitende feestdag met gratis voorstelling
Op zaterdag 15 augustus om 16.00 uur bezoeken alle deelnemers en hun ouders gratis De Held van Haarloheim, de zomermusical die deze vakantie te zien is op het plein voor de Stadsschouwburg. Na de voorstelling is er een meet & greet met de acteurs en krijgen alle kinderen iets lekkers!
For whom?
For everyone aged 8 to 13 who wants to engage with musical theater, where theater, music and dance come together.
When:
- WEEK A | July 7 to 10
- WEEK B | July 14 to 17
- WEEK C | August 4 to 7
- WEEK D | August 11 to 14
Children up to 11 years: Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 15:00.
Children aged 12 and 13: Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:00.
The week concludes with a performance on Friday afternoon

Cost? Free!
The musical theater summer camp has been free to access for four years, including lunch. Everyone between 8 and 13 years old can sign up.
Voluntary contribution: together we keep camp free!
Our summer camps, including lunch, are free to attend. Thanks to grants and partners, children from families with fewer financial resources can also participate. We want to keep it this way.
Can you spare something?
Then we invite you to make a voluntary contribution when ordering online to ensure this camp remains free for all children. With your contribution, we can:
- Provide lunches and materials
- Cover the cost of teachers and supervision
- Enable participation for children from families with fewer financial resources
