ICK Dans Amsterdam

Powerful and contemporary dance

In 2009, Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten combined their artistic, production, and research activities in ICK Dans Amsterdam, the international platform for contemporary dance. They create international productions, support young makers, and promote education and research in dance. ICK is internationally recognized for its innovative approach to dance, in which the body is acknowledged as a carrier of stories, meanings, and physical intelligence. The company experiments with new forms of performance, audience engagement, and technology.

The dance ensemble of ICK consists of unique dancers, focused on strong body awareness and virtuosic dance quality. Since 2019, the ICK Ensemble has been enriched each season with young, talented dancers who are part of ICK Next, ICK's junior company.

With powerful and enchanting productions such as MYSTIC, WE, the BREATH, and WE, the EYES, they leave a strong impression each season.
