Following the great success of 'De Hospita' and 'Malle Babbe', MediaLane Theater presents a new Dutch musical: 'Vlieg Met Me Mee'. It tells a warm, cheerful and relatable story about three generations of women, framed by hits from Paul de Leeuw.
Three generations of women unexpectedly end up living under one roof again. Soon tensions rise between mother Dorien (Simone Kleinsma), daughter Sanne (Brigitte Heitzer) and granddaughter Bibi (Lisa Schol). Old irritations and unspoken feelings quickly turn the house into an emotional pressure cooker. Because how well do you really know your family? While mother, daughter and granddaughter try to understand each other, the songs by Paul de Leeuw express exactly what they don't dare say out loud.
In a story with humor, sharp dialogue by Lex Passchier, the writer of 'Oogappels', and directed by Joep Onderdelinden ('Foxtrot' and 'De Hospita'), old wounds are laid bare and space is made for the future.
