Plien & Bianca

Plien van Bennekom and Bianca Krijgsman met each other during their training at the Academy for Cabaret in Amsterdam, where they graduated in 1993. With Changez!, their very first production, they won the Cameretten Festival in 1996. From 1999 to 2001 they toured the country as the farm girls Irma and Ingrid with Biks!, loosely based on the popular VPRO youth series Zaai. This was followed by many successful productions and for their production Gaat het nog door? (2014-2016) they were nominated for the Poelifinario 2015. In 2017, Plien & Bianca received the Johan Kaart Prize for their contribution to Dutch theater entertainment. In 2026 they started the podcast Provinfluencers together, in which they are the first influencers to put the province back on the map.

In addition to their own productions, they appeared together in other productions such as Slippers with Bas Hoeflaak and Peter de Witte (Droog Brood), Selma Ann Louis with among others Arjan Ederveen and RATATA with among others Theo Maassen and Ilse Warringa.
