You encounter a classical theater company in the nerve-wracking weeks between the first read-through and the premiere.
The ensemble turns out to be a nest of vipers where everyone craves attention and success. From the neurotic playwright and the washed-up star actress to the talentless revue artist and her dangerous bodyguard who feels compelled to meddle in the dramaturgy of the play as a final straw.
'RATATATATA' is humorous, sharp, surprising, brutal and at the same time painfully recognizable. Because behind all the glitter lies a simple question: how far will you go for your own success? And who ultimately pays the price? Don't expect a neat theatrical piece or cabaret sketch, but a production that crackles with energy and lust for life. There is dancing, scheming, fucking, laughing, cursing and drinking, tears are shed and if the occasion calls for it, someone gets killed.
