Top comedians Jelka van Houten and Sanne Wallis de Vries shine in 'LIFT', a new razor-sharp comedy by Kees Prins and Roel Bloemen. Two childhood friends run into each other years later at a funeral. One gives the other a ride home, but what starts as a simple drive quickly spirals into a bizarre, unsettling road trip.
Along the way, memories surface, mutual misunderstandings and missed turns become painfully visible, and confrontational crossroads come to light. The result: a hilarious evening of theater filled with sharp dialogues and recognizable discomfort.
Following the great success of 'ONE MAN ONE MAN', Prins and Bloemen write another absurd comedy about friendship; capricious, witty and sometimes ruthlessly on point.
