Scapino Ballet Rotterdam

Scapino breathes dance, lives dance, is dance. Scapino was founded in 1945 by, among others, Hans Snoek, Hans van Norden and Nicolaas Wijnberg, but never with the aim of creating and performing dance. They wanted to 'bring color back to the faces of children that had grown pale through war.' With every performance, Scapino strives to make an impact, and under the artistic leadership of Nanine Linning, Scapino is committed to artistic innovation. In doing so, dance is merged with other artistic disciplines, couture, science, digital art and interactive technology.

With many successful productions such as Cathedral, Casablanca. Two Tales and Origin, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam will tour the entire country this year with wonderful performances.
