Erik de Jong, the beating heart behind the band Spinvis, collaborates with Saartje Van Camp and Niels Jonker for this musical performance and brings actor and musician Hans Dagelet on tour. They are themselves, each other, and another in an ever-changing setting. We play roles. Have we adopted them ourselves. Or are we assigned them. At work, on holiday, with family, everywhere we seem to be playing a different character. We hide behind another mask. That's what MOM is about.
MOM by Neveldieren is a mind-bending musical performance that enlarges the human mask to fairytale-like proportions. Leave that to Neveldieren. Spinvis and Saartje Van Camp create with their lyrics and music a 'mind-bending trip between fairy tales and reality,' sighed Musiczine, 'with enchanting performances and beautiful images.' And then there's actor and musician Hans Dagelet as well. Together they are alternately themselves, each other, and someone else. In an ever-changing setting. Under the MOM of masks. That have been assigned to them. Or that they have put on themselves. We love Neveldieren.
