To celebrate the Efteling's 75th anniversary, master choreographer Ed Wubbe (known from TING! and Oscar) presents an enchanting dance spectacle of international caliber. Darkride is an ode to the child within you, in which you are invited to follow your feelings and let yourself be carried away into the World of Wonders. Do you surrender to the fear of the unknown or do you step in with the unselfconsciousness of a child?
Darkride takes the audience on an exciting journey full of wonder and imagination set to the iconic music of the Efteling. Under the guidance of a mysterious magician, a colorful cast of dancers and acrobats traverse worlds where nothing is as it seems. Escape the mundane and descend into an enchanting dimension: strange, yet familiar. A world where everything can change in the blink of an eye. Sometimes grotesque and dangerous, then again touching, poetic and dreamlike. This thrilling journey leads from darkness to light, past ever-changing scenes and emotions. Prepare yourself for a wondrous Darkride that challenges you to follow your feelings and embrace the unknown.
